Do you have student loans for yourself or your children? Do you need basic advice to provide to your clients and others on how to handle student loans? Come to our information session for LSNYC employees to learn more about managing your federal student loans. Borrowers have not had to make payments on most federal student loans since March 2020 because of covid, but the federal government has announced that payments will restart this September. A lot has changed in the last three years, so come learn more about how to find out if you (or a client or family member) have federally-insured student loans, what the repayment options are, and what programs are available for loan forgiveness or discharge, including Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
