    Tanya Douglas (Moderator)

    Tanya Douglas is the Director of the Disability Advocacy Project (DAP) at Manhattan Legal Services. Tanya is a graduate of Cornell University and Cornell Law School. Tanya has spent her entire legal career as a public interest attorney with Legal Services NYC. During this time, she had represent clients in SSI/SSD, education, public benefits and housing.

    Dao Sun (Moderator)

    Dao Sun (he, him) is the Director of the Right to Counsel program in the Housing Unit at Manhattan Legal Services. The Right to Counsel team consists of thirty-five plus staff that represents tenants in various cases in administrative proceedings, Housing Court, Supreme Court, and Appellate Term and Division. The team is primarily focused on eviction defense work. Prior to becoming the director of the Rights to Counsel program, Dao was a Supervisory Attorney in the housing unit at Manhattan Legal Services. He also was a staff attorney in the Veterans Justice Program, where he represented veterans in a variety of civil legal matters, including housing, family, employment, consumer, and immigration law, as well as social security benefits. Dao is also an adjunct professor at New York Law School. He teaches, along with two other professors, the Veterans Justice Field Placement and Seminar. Prior to attending the George Washington University Law School, Dao served six and half years in the Navy.
