An Introduction to SSA's New Mental Disorders Listings

The Social Security Administration recently issued new final rules changing the listings for mental disorders (childhood and adult).  The new listings will go into effect in mid-January.  This session will cover these changes, including both negative and positive aspects of these new rules, and examine advocate’s ethical responsibilities.  We will also consider new ways to think about evidence and how to present these cases effectively.
